Fixed Fee Matters

For matters billed on a Fixed Fee basis:

• Time is still recorded (it counts towards the fixed fee allocation)

• A fixed fee code is used instead of an hourly rate

• The time entry records what proportion of the fixed fee has been used

This allows you to track write-off and profitability on fixed-fee matters even though the client pays a single agreed price.
