Matter Reference Format

Configure how matter references are generated:

1. Go to Settings → Matter Reference.

2. Set the format — e.g. {PREFIX}-{YEAR}-{SEQUENCE} → CONV-2026-0001

3. Prefixes can vary by matter type or practice area.

Matter references are unique and cannot be changed once assigned.
