Tasks Linked to Critical Dates

Tasks can be linked to a critical date so their due dates update automatically. For example:

• Limitation date: 12 months out

  • Task: "Instruct expert" — due 8 months before limitation date

  • Task: "Serve proceedings" — due 2 weeks before limitation date

  • Task: "File court bundle" — due 3 days before limitation date

If you update the limitation date, all linked task due dates recalculate.

To link a task to a critical date, set the due date type to "Relative to Critical Date" when creating or editing the task.
