Partial matches: You do not need to type the full name. Smith will return all contacts with Smith in their name.

Email search: Searching by email address (john@example.com) finds the matching contact directly.

Matter reference: References are unique — searching by reference is the fastest way to navigate to a specific matter.

Tags: Documents and contacts can be tagged. Searching a tag name returns all records with that tag.
